SOLAS Safe Pass course contents
The Solas safe pass course has been designed to train and educate attendees on the correct/approved practices to be carried out when working on a construction site in the Irish Republic (Ireland). Recognised within the Republic of Ireland, this Safe Pass course will provide participants with the main principles of construction workplace safety. The 2013 Construction Regulation requires all personnel working on a construction site to hold a valid SOLAS safe pass awareness card. It is a legal obligation to ensure all employees working on a building site hold a valid safe pass card, certification must be renewed every four years. To renew the card or to get a new one, you need to attend a Safe Pass course. Seamus O Sullivan Training provides this training in Kerry.
Who should attend a Safe Pass course
All construction workers who work in the construction sector. This includes apprentices, trainees, deliver people who deliver to the construction site and on-site security workers.

Irish PPS Number
Two passport size photos (recently taken)
Good understanding of English.
Solas Safe Pass certification
Upon completion of a valid Safe Pass course, successful participants will receive a SOLAS safe pass card which will be valid for a period of 4 years.
